The crater is one of the few places on this route where an entire day fits inside a single, contained landscape — its walls keep everything close, and that's exactly why the game viewing here stays consistent regardless of season. The drive into the Serengeti runs via Olduvai Gorge, with time to learn about its place in the story of human origins along the way.
